New Caesars Sportsbook Opens at Long Shot’s in Frederick

Frederick, Maryland – Caesars Entertainment has expanded its presence in Maryland with the opening of a new retail sportsbook at Long Shot’s in Frederick. The 4,900-square-foot facility is the company’s third retail sportsbook in the state, offering a comprehensive sports betting experience for local enthusiasts.

The sportsbook features eight self-service kiosks for seamless betting, a spacious lounge, and a bar tailored to accommodate individuals and groups alike. In addition to sports betting, the venue offers pari-mutuel wagering, broadening its appeal to in-person betting enthusiasts.

Dan Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Caesars Digital, emphasised the significance of the partnership with Long Shot’s, a women-owned business integral to Frederick’s vibrant community. “We’re proud to partner with Long Shot’s…to bring in-person sports betting back to the sports fans in the area,” Shapiro said.

Operating hours for the new Caesars Sportsbook are 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, providing flexible access for patrons.

This opening aligns with Caesars’ renewed multi-year partnership with the NHL earlier this year, which integrates branded content across the company’s gaming platforms in North America.
