Holland Casino Amsterdam Launches Fourth Pulse Arena, Expanding Gaming Options
Holland Casino Amsterdam has unveiled its latest gaming innovation with the launch of Interblock’s Pulse Arena, marking the fourth such installation in the Netherlands.
The newly introduced 29-station setup offers a hybrid gaming model, seamlessly blending live and electronic gameplay for popular games like roulette, blackjack, and punto banco. Players can engage in up to four games simultaneously using touchscreen interfaces, which incorporate live dealer interactions alongside automated features.
This installation also includes Interblock’s Black Pearl Golden Ball Roulette, a system designed to enhance gameplay efficiency with accurate payouts and quicker rounds.
Pieter Boers, Vice President of Gaming & Services at Holland Casino, expressed enthusiasm for the new addition: “Holland Casino Amsterdam Center has always been dedicated to delivering extraordinary gaming experiences and we are excited to partner with Interblock to bring the Pulse Arena to our guests.”
John Connelly, CEO of Interblock, highlighted the significance of the partnership: “Interblock’s collaboration with Holland Casino Amsterdam exemplifies our shared vision for elevating the casino experience.”
The launch comes at a time of financial strain for Holland Casino, following proposed increases in gambling tax rates. The Dutch government plans to raise the tax rate from 30.5% to 34.2% in January 2025, with a potential further increase to 37.8% in 2026.
Additionally, operational adjustments have been necessary, including the recent closure of the Zandvoort branch due to long-term unprofitability. Employees from the closed location are being relocated to other branches within the network.
